In this short melodic study and Video Masterclass I explore different melodic devices and ideas for constructing modern phrases over minor harmonies, emphasizing the min6 "Dorian" flavor.

The study consists of 5 modern melodic phrases over a Dmin6 harmony where each phrase is specifically constructed by utilizing unique melodic ideas that showcase the many different hues and characters of the min6 sonority.
