Harmonic Portrait - Thelonious Monk ('Round Midnight)

In this chordal study series I seek to depict and illustrate the magical character of some of my favorite musicians expressed through my own harmonic brush just like an artist painting a portrait.

This episode is dedicated to the legacy and memory of one of the most original voices in jazz - the great Thelonious Monk.

This is my take on one of his most beautiful compositions - “'Round Midnight.
