Intervallic Waves (Third Degree Burns) - Short Melodic Etude

In this short melodic etude I seek to explore the many interesting and creative ways through which one can practice the development of new phrasing ideas on the instrument by combining a limited set of predetermined intervals. Here I am exploring some fun ways we can combine 2nds, 4ths and 5ths to create a modern and fluid sound.

The etude consists of a melodic modern phrase that traverses all 12 keys in three cycles of min7 chords in minor 3rd intervals separated by a major 3rd interval.

1st minor 3rd cycle: Cmin7 - Ebmin7 - F#min7 - Amin7

2nd minor 3rd cycle: C#min7 - Emin7 - Gmin7 - Bbmin7

3rd minor 3rd cycle: Dmin7 - Fmin7 - Abmin7 - Bmin7
