HARMONIC PARADOX (A New Look at Major Scale Harmonization using Tritone Relationships)

In this short harmonic study I present to you a few concepts and ideas that I find very useful when trying to expand and augment the harmonic possibilities of any diatonic chord progression by borrowing tonal material from keys that share tritone relationships.

I find this type of harmonic navigation extremely appealing not only for one's improvisatory chordal vocabulary but also when it comes to composing and arranging as it can open your ears to a multitude of new and lush harmonic roadways.
